2021-22 School Year Update: FREE MEALS FOR ALL STUDENTS 18 and UNDER!

Who is eligible?

Corinth Central School is pleased to announce that all enrolled students will receive free meals through an extended waiver from the USDA.  Free meals for students were extended through the  2021-22 school year. We are offering Breakfast in the Classroom for grades K-8. A signup sheet will need to be returned to the cafeteria for the student to receive meals each morning. This will help us maintain consistent numbers to prepare for. High School students will be offered a breakfast meal upon entering each morning at our Grab-n-Go Cafe in the High School lobby.

***PLEASE NOTE, FOR FAMILIES THAT QUALIFY: It is still very important to submit a Free & Reduced meal application so your student's eligibility status does not lapse when meals go back to regular student pricing.***

If your circumstances change and you think you may qualify, applications can be printed from this website (see below). A student breakfast consists of 4 food groups. To qualify for a student-priced meal, free, reduced, or full-priced, the student must take at least 3 of the 4 groups offered. The groups are either 1 grain, 1 grain and 1 protein, a fruit or juice, and milk. If a student only wants milk and cereal, they must also take a piece of fruit or toast. That would be three things. Students MUST take fruit at breakfast. Because we are a federally operated program, we must follow those guidelines to ensure a student is getting the minimum nutrition they need to learn. When the necessary things are not taken, a higher a la carte price must be charged.
