Corinth Community Scholarship Association Inc.

Dear Neighbors, Friends, and Families of Corinth,

Community Scholarship Association (formerly known as Corinth Dollars for Scholars) carries on the mission of supporting and encouraging Corinth students to attend college. It also continues to award scholarships to graduating seniors. For the 2016-2017 school year, students will fill out the PDF application below to apply for scholarships.

Our local, community-based organization was formed in 1993. In that very first year, we awarded 11 students a total of $2,650. Since then the organization has grown significantly; during the 2015-2016 awards season, 25 students were presented awards totaling $20,000. Thank you to all of our volunteers and the generosity of the community.

Annually, the Corinth Community Scholarship Association Inc. holds various fundraisers. Each event is chaired by members of the organization and organized with the help of all. These major events include:

September Golf Tournament

Everyone loves to golf! This annual event at Brookhaven Golf Course is one of our most successful fundraisers. Each year there are well over 100 golfers who enjoy great prizes and dinner. Just a few examples of the prizes awarded to the golfers include golf for four at Saratoga National and golf for four at the Sagamore. The 2017 Tournament will be held on September 16 at Brookhaven Golf Course. More information will be forthcoming.

Pins & Rims Tournament

Teams of students, teachers, and community members come together to participate in our Pins and Rims Tournament each year.  The Alumni Team is the reigning champion of this event!  The 2018 Tournament will be held at 6:30 pm on March 9th in the High School Gym. For registration information, please contact the High School Office at 654-9005, ext. 3431. The Registration Form can be found below.

Spring McDonald's Night

With the assistance of Renee Reardon of Exit 18 McDonald's, we have a fun-filled night "posing" as employees. Teachers from Corinth School take orders, operate cash registers, and manage the drive-thru window. It is a great deal of fun for Corinth's students to watch their teachers serve food. In the past, you might have seen one of our principals or some of our teachers behind the register with their McDonald's hats on ready to take your order.

Thank You

We would like to acknowledge the teachers and staff at Corinth Central School who make monetary contributions to our organization each pay period. Thanks to all of you for your support.

Spring Long Horn Fundraiser

Join us in June for dinner at the Long Horn Restaurant in Hadley Luzerne and help support a great cause while enjoying great food and music!

The Corinth Community Scholarship Association Inc. is a community success story. Thanks to the efforts of all involved, many Corinth graduates have been helped. We wanted you to know! Along with our 24 members, we also have many volunteers. If you would like to become a member or be added to the volunteer list, please contact Association Co-Presidents Rebecca Robarge and Lynette Jensen.

With Sincere Gratitude,
The Corinth Community Scholarship Association Inc.
