Corinth Central School District will have three open Board of Education seats on the May 15 budget vote and annual election. Two seats are full five-year terms on a seven-member board. One seat is a two-year term to fulfill Mrs. Stacie Boni-O’Neil’s remainder of term immediately through June 30, 2020. In addition, Mr. Arthur Lozier III’s and Mrs. Meredith Jenkins’ terms will be expiring.
If you are interested in running for the Board seat, please pick up a petition from the District Clerk in the Office of the Superintendent between the hours of 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. You must be 18 years of age, must be a resident of the district and have lived in the district for 1 year prior to the election date, may not hold any other public office and may not reside with any other school board member of the same board and may not be a current employee of the school.
A minimum of 25 signatures from district residents is needed from petitioners. Deadline for submission of completed petition is on or before April 16, 2018. Petitions on that day (April 16) may be received until 5 p.m.
