On Wednesday, October 21, 2020, our district wore orange to stand together against bullying, and to unite for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. We did this to commemorate the nation-wide movement called "Unity Day", started by Pacer's National Bullying Prevention Center. This annual event is meant to bring awareness to the importance of bullying prevention.
We particularly love to celebrate this day, as the symbolic color of bullying prevention is orange- which happens to represent the Corinth School District as well. That being said, not only was this annual holiday a moment to stand up against bullying, but whenever we wear orange, we can be reminded that choosing kindness over hate, and standing up for what is right is a part of who we are as a district. #CorinthisCommunity.
