CMS Family Night was a huge success

A big shout out to all of the middle school families who participated in the Family Night Zombie Escape Room and Food Drive on Wednesday, November 14.

Ms. Newell's attempt to take over the world with a zombie virus causing hunger was thwarted by over 80 members of the Corinth community. Eleven teams of students, parents and siblings worked together to solve the zombie critical thinking breakout problems and release the antidote.

Many thanks to the CMS Math Club for the amazing "puzzles" and the National Junior Honor Society for their hard work on this service project. The food collected will go directly to our CCSD Backpack program in our community.

A special thanks to Math Club/NJHS adviser, Mrs. Tina Peck, and NJHS adviser, Ms. Kathy Newell (aka - The Mad Scientist), for their guidance, leadership and hard work to help this event come to fruition. Thank you to Principal Schenone for his support and assistance on this project.

Way to go, Middle School Tomahawks!
