Corinth Central School District "CARES" about everyone
In 2016, in collaboration with Corinth Superintendent Dr. Stratton and the Glens Falls "Hope Committee," the Corinth C.A.R.E. Committee was formed. C.A.R.E. stands for Corinth Aims to Reach Everyone.
The committee took the small clothing closet that existed at the Oak Street complex and expanded it to be a huge concept that now serves students in K-12. Corinth students may visit the "Corinth Clothes Zone" for clothing by visiting the Counseling Office in either building. The C.A.R.E. Committee also coordinates a food pantry to help students and their families as well.
The C.A.R.E. Committee works hard to be of assistance to our students. They encourage any student who is in need of clothing or food to reach out and make use of this great district resource.
They also need you! In order for the Clothing Closet and Food Pantry to continue to be successful, it is seeking staff and student volunteers to help!
The closet accepts donations year round and needs people to help organize and to staff the closet for visitors. The C.A.R.E. Committee also accepts donations of clothing, food (dry goods, granola bars, cereal, etc.) or monetary donations to keep it going.
For more information, please contact the Counseling Office or Committee Chairperson Mrs. Lindy Gooden at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are fortunate to have a caring and supportive staff and community to make these valuable resources available to the Corinth Central School District community. Thank you to all who contribute!
