Corinth CSD Recipient of Skidmore Cares Program

Skidmore Aids Corinth's Ongoing Support Efforts

During the holiday season, Skidmore College faculty, staff, students, and their families work with local organizations in a meaningful way to connect with one another by giving back through the Skidmore Cares initiative. This program supports local organizations that are also helping local families, students, or residents who find themselves in need throughout the year.

This year the Skidmore Cares program benefits the Shelters of Saratoga, Franklin Community Center, Mary's Haven, Saratoga Economic Opportunity Council, Wellspring, Corinth Central School District, Saratoga Springs City School District PATHS, the Latino Advocacy Program, Salvation Army, and Saratoga Center for the Family.

This holiday season, Skidmore Cares has provided Corinth with $1,000 in gift cards to be used for Corinth families in need.

"Thank you for the important work that your organization does for the Saratoga region," says Skidmore President Philip A. Glotzbach in a letter to Corinth Superintendent Dr. Mark Stratton. "The Skidmore College community is honored to help support your ongoing efforts through our Skidmore Cares program and we hope this donation will make a positive difference for your organization and the constituents that you serve."
