After reading The Three Little Pigs, Corinth kindergarten students embarked on a challenge where they worked in teams to build a house to that would protect the pigs in the story.
The students focused on the structure and function of their house by following the engineering design process. They tested the strength of their houses by using a big bad wolf puppet on the end of a blower. All of the houses survived!
Way to go, Tomahawks! We may have some future engineers on our hands.
Thank you to the Corinth kindergarten teaching team for facilitating this meaningful hands-on learning experience as part of their Project Lead The Way science curriculum.
