Eight-Graders Use Math Skills In Scavenger Hunt

Eighth-grade math students recently conducted a scavenger hunt around the school building to test out their math skills.

Following a unit on systems of equations, the students used graphing, elimination, substitution, and tables to solve systems, and used the solutions and a graph to locate clues around the middle school.

Programs like this scavenger hunt support the district’s goal of providing a rigorous, relevant, challenging, and innovative educational program for all students. Read more about district goals here
