Assemblyman Dan Stec and a representative of the League of Women Voters presented Mrs. Lefebre's homeroom class with a plaque this week in recognition of the class's participation in the League's "Take Me to Vote" program in the fall.
The program encourages students to go to the polls as a way to better understand their responsibilities as citizens. Mrs. Lefebre's homeroom class had the highest participation in Assembly District 114. As recognition, Assemblyman Stec and the League presented the class with a plaque. In total, 12 fifth-graders from Corinth accompanied their parents to the polls in November.
