This week, Mrs. Hollander's art classes have been studying the work of artist Andy Goldsworthy. Students used class time to explore the outdoors, create and have a good time.
Andy Goldsworthy is an artist known for his site-specific installations involving natural materials and the passage of time. Working as both sculptor and photographer, Goldsworthy crafts his installations out of rocks, ice, leaves, or branches, cognizant that the landscape will change, then carefully documents the collaborations with nature through photography.
Creating only with nature's materials- here are some glimpses as to what our students have been up to!
