Corinth Central School is proud to announce the Honor Grads of the Class of 2018.
Honor Grads are students who have earned 70 or more quality points during their High School Career.
Sean Barber, son of Susan and John Barber of Corinth is this year’s Valedictorian. Sean is member of the National Honor Society, Foreign Language Honor Society, and the Science and Math Honor Society. He is also a member of the Senior Band, Drama Club, and has been a NYSSMA Participant. Sean was a member of the Varsity Soccer team, Ski Club and Varsity Tennis team throughout high school. Sean also attended the American Legion Boys’ State. He plans to attend the University of New Haven in the fall of 2018 to major in Music and Sound Recording.
Jacob Yankee, son of Brooke and Brian Yanke of Greenfield Center, is this year’s Salutatorian. Jacob is a member of the Math and Science Honor Society, Foreign Language Club, Student Senate, FCCLA ,WAVE, and was a NYSSMA Participant. Jacob was also a member of the Varsity Baseball, Football, and Soccer teams, as well as, the Ski Club. Jacob plans to attend SUNY Oneonta in the fall of 2018 to major in Mass Communications.
Alysha Jones, daughter of Norleen Aubin, plans to attend Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in the Fall. She intends to major in Drug Manufacturing/ Research. Alysha is a member of National Honor Society, Foreign Language Honor Society, Math and Science Honor Society, Drama Club and WAVE. Alysha also participates in Band, Chorus, Jazz Band and the Varsity Bowling Team.
Sara Frechette is the daughter of Mia and Cary Frechette of Corinth. Sara intends to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice at SUNY Adirondack in the Fall of 2018. Sara is a member of Foreign Language Honor Society, National Honor Society, and Science Honor Society. Sara also participates in Chess Club, SADD Club, WAVE and Band. In addition, Sara is a three sport athlete participating in Soccer, Basketball Tennis.
Samantha Sandwick is the daughter of Melissa and Leonard Sandwick of Corinth. Samantha participated in the New Visions Health Care program during her senior year. She is a member of the National Honor Society, as well as, the Science Honor Society. She participates in Band and has been selected for All County and NYSSMA. Samantha also participated in the Chess Club and is a member of the Varsity Tennis Team. She plans to attend SUNY Adirondack in the fall and will major in Biology.
