Halligan's presentation, known nationwide as "Ryan's Story," was held in the High School auditorium for middle school students and noon for high school students.
Mr. Halligan's riveting and powerful story serves as a reminder that there is a face, a person, a heart, on the other end of the screen. He also addresses his son's underlying mental health issues and depression, which contributed to Ryan's vulnerability and ultimate suicide.
The Corinth Central School is committed to supporting a comprehensive and proactive bullying prevention program. "Ryan's Story" will help raise awareness among students and parents about bullying and cyber bullying.
