SARATOGA COUNTY ANNOUNCES UPCOMING COVID-19 VACCINATION CLINICS FOR CHILDREN AGES 5-11 AND  BOOSTER CLINICS FOR SENIORS AGE 65 AND OLDER 

Saratoga County Public Health Services department (SCPHS) is holding the following free COVID-19 vaccination clinics:  

November 9: Pfizer vaccine clinic for 5-11 year olds who reside or attend school in Saratoga County, 1pm-4pm at the  Saratoga County Public Safety Building, 6012 County Farm Road Ballston Spa. Registration required. 

November 9: Pfizer Booster Vaccine Clinic for those age 65 and older, 9am - 3pm at the Galway Fire Department, 1985  West St. Galway. To be eligible, seniors must have received their second dose of Pfizer on or before May 9th. Individuals  who received Moderna or Johnson and Johnson vaccine are not eligible for this vaccine clinic. Registration preferred  and strongly recommended. Limited, same day walk-in appointments will also be available. 

November 10: Pfizer vaccine clinic for 5-11 year olds who reside or attend school in Saratoga County, 2:30pm-5:30pm  at the Saratoga County Public Safety Building, 6012 County Farm Road Ballston Spa. Registration required.  

November 10: Moderna Booster Clinic for those age 65 and older, 9:30am-12:30pm at the Saratoga County Public  Safety Building, 6012 County Farm Road Ballston Spa. To be eligible, seniors must have had their second dose of  Moderna or Pfizer on or before May 10th or the Johnson & Johnson vaccine on or before September 10th. Registration  preferred and strongly recommended. Limited, same day walk-in appointments will also be available. 

The vaccines are free. No proof of insurance required. 

Important information regarding 5-11 year old Clinics: The child to be vaccinated should be accompanied by their  parent or guardian. Only one parent/guardian may enter the vaccination clinic at a time. If the child is unaccompanied  by their parent or guardian, a written consent form signed by the parent or guardian must be presented the time of the  minor's vaccination. The consent form is available on the clinic registration page. 

To register, please visit www.saratogacountyny.gov/covid to register for any clinic. Seniors may also call the county’s  COVID-19 Booster Clinic Call Center at (518) 693-1075 to register for a clinic. Saratoga County’s COVID-19 Booster Clinic  Call Center is available weekdays from 8AM to 4:30PM and weekends from 8AM to 2PM to help seniors make booster appointments within the county.

SCPHS provides free COVID-19 vaccine clinics and booster clinics at the county’s Public Safety Building and through partnerships with private businesses across the county.
