Before students return to school, Corinth faculty and staff gathered at the Oak Street complex on Tuesday, September 4 to meet their new colleagues, celebrate some 2017-18 milestones and begin preparing for the arrival of students on Wednesday, September 5.
After a faculty and staff breakfast, the day began for all district faculty and staff with an opening day welcome from Superintendent of Schools Mark Stratton.
Dr. Stratton welcomed 19 new teachers and staff - which included Interim Elementary Principal MArk Doody and School Resource Officer Mark Nelson - and paid tribute to all of the employees who worked tireless hours over the summer in preparation for the new school year.

Superintendent Stratton concluded his opening day remarks with presentations by United Way and the YMCA who discussed the ways they could help the district and the community, as well as highlighting all of the 2017-18 Goals’ successes presented by the administrators.
