Students Use Recycled Materials to Demonstrate Joint Movement in Health Class

Middle School Health students collaborated with peers recently to create model arms constructed of everyday/recycled materials. The goal was to produce motion to demonstrate how muscles contract to cause movement in the elbow joint. Students also explained the bio-mechanical principles of joint motion with correct identification of the major muscles and bones involved.
Great job, students!
