Third annual Hoops for the Holidays is a success

The third annual Hoops for the Holidays kicked-off at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, November 30 in the high school gym and was a huge success!

For the past two years, the program has provided Christmas gifts for families in need, as well as, donated to the back pack program.  This year the event raised  approximately $7,400 and will buy Christmas for seven different district families - a total of 14 kids!

Students and staff participated in multiple events including an Oreo Minute to Win It Challenge, a Panty Hose Race, Basketball players in grades 7-12 participated in a Foul Shot Contest, students were able to Pie a CCSD staff member, and more.

There are many who deserve a huge thanks for making this event such a success! Click here for special shout-outs.

Check out some photos from the event below! Visit the district's Facebook page for more photos.
