QUICK LINKS
Transition to Remote Learning

Dear Families,

As you know, yesterday the District sent a letter with an email address to notify us of quarantines and positive cases.  Since doing so, we have received confirmation of five (5) positive cases and several quarantines.

  • High School -3

  • Middle School - 1

  • Elementary School - 1

The Saratoga County Health Department is doing their best to stay current with these cases, but they are simply overwhelmed.  As such, we do not have contact tracing information for these individuals.  There are currently 33 active cases of COVID-19 in our community – a 35% increase from last week.

As the positive cases continue to rise without adequate contact tracing, there may be several students and staff who are unknowingly positive in our schools should we open on Monday.  Additionally, our staffing continues to be problematic.  As a result, the district will be implementing its full virtual instruction plan beginning Monday, January 4 through Friday January 8, 2021.  We hope this will give us time to better assess the risk in our community.

We will distribute meals on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30-10:30 and 3:30-4:00 at the Middle School loading dock.  Please call (518) 654-9005 ext. 3114 or email tevendalel@corinthcsd.org to sign up if you are NOT already on our distribution list.

Please continue to email us at ccsdcf@corinthcsd.org if you/your student has received positive test results or if you have been ordered to quarantine due to an exposure to a COVID-positive person.

Again, we encourage our families to remain vigilant in detecting COVID-19 symptoms.  If you notice any of the common COVID-19 symptoms (fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea) speak to your physician or a local healthcare provider about getting a COVID-19 test.

Please add the following phone number (518-885-2276) to your contacts. It is the number for the Saratoga County Public Health and may come up as spam on some phones.
