Our first graders had an exciting visit from guest author, Dottie Pepper!
Dottie Pepper read aloud her book, Bogey Tees Off- A lesson about bullying, to our first graders last week. Ms. Pepper's book demonstrates our Corinth word of the month, "Empathy."
Dottie also spoke about the process she took to write the book. Our students were amazed to learn that it takes a team to get from an idea to a published book. The first grade class gives the book two thumbs up!
Dottie was generous with her time and shared many personal stories that connected with the storyline in the book. We can't thank her enough!
