Congratulations to our winter athletes. This has been one of the most successful seasons for our winter sports teams in recent years.
Our basketball teams both finished the year in sectional play. The girls team won the adirondack league and finished with an overall record of 19-2. The boys team caught fire towards the end of the season and finished with an overall record of 13-7. Both teams were supported throughout the season by our amazing cheer team who kept the crowd energized for all our home games.
The riverhawk wrestling team finished the year with an overall record of 13-9 and sent 5 athletes on to the section II qualifying meet. Our bowling team finished the year with a 34-14 record gaining second place in the adirondack league.
The hockey teams have both finished the seasons. Our hockey athletes spend countless hours working with our partnering district’s athletes and spend a significant amount of time traveling to competitions. The rivermen finished the year with a lot to build on for a young team. The adirondack united girls hockey team capped off an undefeated season with their first ever NYS Championship. A huge shout out to the entire team for an amazing season.
