Sports Marketing students traveled to MetLife Stadium this week to tour the stadium and learn about job opportunities, career pathways, and internship opportunities. The main message of each speaker was 'networking now' to build a resume in these various business fields. The Jets NFL Organization sponsored this career event where high schools around the state of New York and New Jersey were able to tour and listen to key speakers throughout the stadium, discussing their success in landing a job in sports marketing, finance, insurance, ticket sales, ticket and sales management, and athletic training. Highlights of the tour included the Commissioner's Club, NFL player locker rooms, press rooms, and box suites. Students were also able to walk on the MetLife Stadium field where the NY Jets and the NY Giants play their home games.
