The Corinth Central School District continues to see the positive impact of community generosity through the work of the Corinth C.A.R.E. (Corinth Aims to Reach Everyone) Committee during the 2025–2026 school year. Thanks to a combination of grants and donations from local organizations, businesses, and partners, C.A.R.E. has been able to provide critical resources that support students and families across the district.

The C.A.R.E. Committee works to ensure that students have access to basic necessities so they can arrive at school ready to learn. Support received this year has helped address essential needs such as food security, winter clothing, hygiene supplies, and general family assistance.

Several organizations contributed to winter gear and clothing support, ensuring students were prepared for colder months. This included a $2,000 contribution from Lake George WIN to assist with the purchase of winter gear, along with coat donations from the Knights of Columbus. Additional coats, boots, and snowpants were donated by the New York State Laborers Union, while United Way and Subaru also provided winter coats for students in need.

C.A.R.E. also received support focused on student wellness and personal care. Feminine hygiene products were donated by Zonta, and hygiene supply bags were provided by WIN to help meet ongoing student needs.

In addition to donations, the C.A.R.E. Committee was awarded several grants that continue to strengthen its programs. The Adirondack Trust Community Fund awarded a $3,000 grant to support the Food Backpack Program, while the Common Roots Foundation provided $2,500 to assist with winter gear. Enterprise also awarded a $2,440 grant to support general C.A.R.E. needs.

As a direct result of this support during the 2025–2026 school year, C.A.R.E. has provided weekly food bags to 48 Pre-K through fourth-grade students and fulfilled eight food pantry bag requests for middle and high school students. Ten hygiene bags were distributed, and 104 “Because We C.A.R.E.” requests were met. In addition, 62 Pre-K through sixth-grade students received new winter gear, and 179 students attended the district’s annual Back to School Fair.

These efforts highlight the ongoing commitment of the C.A.R.E. Committee to remove barriers to learning and ensure students’ basic needs are met throughout the school year.

The Corinth Central School District extends its sincere thanks to all community partners whose generosity continues to make this work possible.
