Students in the Corinth Central School District have wrapped up their work for the school year with Sweethearts & Heroes, a nationally recognized youth leadership organization focused on preventing bullying and strengthening school culture through empathy, hope, and positive peer interactions.

Pat Fish, BRAVE Director and Circle Specialist with Sweethearts & Heroes, returned to Corinth on Dec. 17 to conclude this year’s programming, which included Circle visits and the launch of the BRAVE Youth Leadership System during National Bullying Prevention Month in October. The BRAVE program empowers middle and high school students to mentor younger peers, creating a student-driven approach to leadership and positive school climate.

The Corinth Central School District is grateful for our continued partnership with Sweethearts & Heroes and the meaningful impact the BRAVE program has already made on our students this year, " said district administration. "By empowering middle and high schoolers with leadership skills to mentor elementary students, the program fosters empathy and positive peer interactions. Our goal is to equip students with the tools to strengthen school culture and support one another, both now and in the future. We look forward to advancing this work and our ongoing commitment to student well-being.

Sweethearts & Heroes has worked with more than 2.5 million students across the United States and Canada and continues to support schools through assemblies, leadership training, and digital resources.
