Corinth Central School District is reminding families that registration remains open for the Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program at Corinth Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. Families who have not yet submitted an application are encouraged to do so as soon as possible.
The UPK program is offered at no cost to district residents and is designed to help prepare children for kindergarten through a developmentally appropriate, play-based learning environment led by New York State-certified teachers.
The full-day program runs from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and follows the district’s regular 180-day school calendar. Students also have access to breakfast and lunch through the school cafeteria and participate in enrichment opportunities such as physical education, music, art, and library.
Children who turn four years old on or before December 1, 2026, and reside within the district are eligible to apply. A total of 54 placements are available. If additional openings remain, late applications will continue to be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If the program reaches capacity, applicants will be placed on a waitlist.
