Activities This Week April 27-May 2

Corinth Central School District is preparing for a full and active week from April 27 through May 2, featuring a mix of academic milestones, athletic competitions, and student celebrations.

The week begins on Monday, April 27, with the JV softball team taking the field at 4:30 PM.

On Tuesday, April 28, students in grades 5 and 8 will participate in the New York State Science Assessment. The afternoon brings a full schedule of modified athletics, including tennis at 4:15 PM, and softball and baseball at 4:30 PM. JV softball will also compete at 4:30 PM.

Varsity athletics take center stage on Wednesday, April 29, as the track team, softball team, and baseball team all compete at 4:30 PM.

Thursday, April 30, continues with a busy lineup of modified sports, including tennis at 4:15 PM and softball, baseball, and track at 4:30 PM. The evening will highlight student achievement and the arts, beginning with the National Honor Society Induction Ceremony at 6:00 PM, followed by the Elementary Choir Concert at 6:30 PM in the Elementary Cafeteria.

On Friday, May 1, seniors will depart for their class trip to Boston. Varsity softball and baseball will also host games at 4:30 PM.

The week concludes on Saturday, May 2, with the Junior Prom.

Families are also reminded that yearbooks are currently on sale for both middle/high school and elementary students. In addition, students and staff are encouraged to participate in “Riverhawk Fridays” by wearing orange, black, or Riverhawk apparel to show school pride.
