CCSD Annual School Budget Vote

Residents will head to the polls on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, for the Corinth Central School District’s 2026–2027 Budget Vote at Corinth Elementary School from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Board of Education formally adopted the 2026–27 budget during its April 14 meeting. The proposed budget includes the following propositions:

  • A budget of $29,905,000 with a tax levy increase of 2.6%, which aligns with the NYS tax cap and remains below the district’s 3.24% allowable limit. The plan reflects a 3.99% ($1,148,000) increase over the current year’s budget. Despite continued inflationary pressures, the budget maintains all student programs while remaining fiscally responsible.

  • A vehicle replacement proposition to purchase two diesel school buses at a cost not to exceed $408,276.

  • A Corinth Public Library proposition authorizing the collection and contribution of $89,500 toward the operating expenses of the Corinth Public Library.

  • A Board of Education election for one seat to a five-year term.

Absentee ballots are available for residents who are unable to vote in person. Ballots must be returned to the District Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on May 19.

Complete Budget Newsletters will be mailed to residents’ homes prior to the May 19 vote.
