Corinth Central School District is once again working with its “Hoops for the Holidays” program and community partners to connect families with holiday resources.
The district is fortunate to be part of a generous community. Several local organizations collaborate with Corinth Schools to help make Christmas morning joyful for students. With the support of staff and community partners, the district is able to assist some students with fulfilling their holiday wish lists.
Holiday Assistance Guidelines
Because many families seek support, families who have received assistance from the program for two or more years are kindly asked to consider reaching out to other organizations for holiday help this year.
Families participating in the program should also be aware of the following guidelines:
Parents/guardians may apply only for children for whom they have legal custody.
Families may not participate in this program if they are receiving holiday assistance from another agency. Families already connected with another agency should contact that organization first.
Wish lists should be prioritized. Families are asked to keep in mind that it can be difficult to provide items that are not age-appropriate or are extremely expensive.
The program cannot guarantee that all requested items will be fulfilled.
If clothing or shoes are requested, please include the child's size. Families may also note a particular style or brand if desired.
Wish List Deadline
Completed wish lists must be returned to the Counseling Office by November 1, 2026.
Due to time and budget constraints, requests received after this date cannot be accepted. The deadline will be strictly enforced. Families should also provide an email address on the registration form, which will be used to confirm enrollment in the program.
The wish list asks families to identify something their child wants, needs and can wear, including sizes for clothing items.
