Agriculture and Markets

Corinth School District is pleased to announce that we are among the 54 New York School Districts who have been approved by the Department of Agriculture & Markets to receive an additional $ .25 per lunch meal for the 2022-2023 school year.  The criteria for the application requires that 30% of our total food budget is allocated to NY local products.  We were able to meet this goal due to our partnership with local farmers and entities such as Capital Roots in Troy and Comfort Foods in Greenwich to have better access to farm, fresh produce,  local dairy, meats and whole grain pasta products.  Our Farm to School program has expanded significantly in the past few years, and we are proud to  be able to offer our students the freshest produce and local products available while supporting the local agricultural community.
