REMINDER to CCSD families: The CARE COMMITTEE is hosting the 2nd annual Back to School Fair on August 29th from 4-6 PM.
RSVP IS DUE MONDAY, 8/14 if you plan to participate! RSVP: https://forms.gle/ijQqH6moztPAuZoBA

FOR YOUR REFERENCE:
The C.A.R.E. ( Corinth Aims to Reach Everyone) Committee is a group of volunteer teachers and staff that work throughout the year to help meet the evolving needs of our Corinth students and families. Last August, together with our school and support from our community, the CARE Committee hosted the 1st Back to School Fair - a celebratory event welcoming students back to school that was full of fun, excitement, free school supplies, back to school haircuts and many other goodies. The CARE Committee is excited to announce that the Back to School Fair will return on August 29th from 4-6pm in the Corinth Middle School parking lot.
Families are asked to register for the event where they can choose from several resources offered such as free school supplies, donations of gently used clothing and an opportunity to get a free haircut at the event. Our event will also have hot dogs and ice cream sundaes served by our student’s favorite teachers and principals, Riverhawk water bottles, toiletries and hygiene products available, winter hats and new socks and underwear - all FREE to our students. A link to register for the event can be found on our district website and Corinth School Facebook page on August 1st. In order to appropriately plan and fulfill all school supply requests, the RSVP deadline will be on the 14th.
Information about community resources will be available at the Fair including more info about the support offered through CARE during the school year as well as many other community resources.

Community support behind this event has been amazing - the Saratoga YMCA is in the midst of community based school supply drive, the Corinth PTSA has offered to assist with lots of additional school supplies, the Saratoga Children’s Committee has offered to donate NEW backpacks for our high school students and we have 6 local hair stylists providing their time to our event. A door prize style raffle will be open to all attending Corinth families that will take place on the night of the event - prizes to include a 3 month Family Membership at the YMCA, children’s bicycles and a gift certificate to the Ninja lab. Many Corinth teachers are busy working behind the scenes to get ready for this event and will be at the fair to help distribute school supplies and say hello to many of their students.

If you are planning to attend, please RSVP to this link so we can adequately prepare: https://docs.google.com/.../1FAIpQLSd2i2rDPfRI.../viewform
Donations in support of this event and to the CARE Committee can be mailed to ℅ Kerry Giumarra, CARE President at Corinth Central School District at 105 Oak Street, Corinth, NY 12822.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO HELPING OUR STUDENTS AND FAMILIES PREPARE FOR THE SEPTEMBER 7th RETURN TO SCHOOL!

ATTENTION CCSD FAMILIES! We have big news to share!
We are happy to announce that beginning this September, the Corinth Central School District will offer free meals (both breakfast and lunch) to all students through a program called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). The District has opted into this CEP federal program that allows eligible schools to offer free breakfast and lunch to all students. No sign-up or pre-registration is required, so families no longer have to complete free or reduced-price meal applications!
The District is encouraging families to complete an alternate income form that is used as a proxy for other educational programs that benefit our students and school district. Although it is not a requirement for free meals, please consider completing the income form as it is vital to other grants and aid programs. The form will be shared with you this month along with school year information mailings and communications. An electronic form can also be accessed through TITAN/Linq for your convenience through this link- Income Form 2023-2024

Our Food Service Department provides meals that are nutritious and delicious and meet the USDA standards under the National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs. By encouraging your child to eat breakfast and lunch with us, their participation will help us sustain our CEP program. Please contact Lisa Tevendale at (518) 654-9005 extension 3114 if you have any questions.
