On Tuesday, June 6th, the Corinth Middle School chapter of the National Junior Honor Society inducted the new members from the 7th grade.
Students who were selected for demonstrating scholarship, character, citizenship, leadership and service to their school and community. They serve as role models for their peers.
We thank your current members for all of your hard work and wish you much success in high school.
Congratulations to the new members! We are fortunate to have such an esteemed group of student leaders.
Thank you to our NJHS advisor, Ms. Kathy Newell, for her work facilitating a successful year for our middle school NJHS chapter.

Our Corinth Elementary Student Council was able to visit The Village Hall and interview our Deputy Mayor, Dean Brown this week. The students were educated on the history of our village, the many services and jobs that are held/provided, meeting procedures, the role of our Deputy Mayor, his history and service to Corinth, along with his wishes for these future students, and much more.
One message that the students learned was to spread kindness. Our students shared some of the Social Emotional Learning character strengths they learned in The Positivity Project such as motivation, enthusiasm, citizenship, Other People Matter, and prudence.
They followed with reciting the "Choose Kindness Pledge," which is part of the Positivity Project and Jimmer Fredette Foundation goals of spreading kindness.
Then, they were off to our Corinth Community Food Pantry. Students learned about the value of donating to our food cupboard, how food is distributed, shopped for a "family of four," and restocked many shelves. They were able to meet many community volunteers and learned how they could volunteer in the future.
We are so proud of our CES students! A big shout out to their advisor, Mrs. Tina Fuller, for facilitating such a wonderful and important learning experience and community service project.
