Our grade 8 students recently celebrated moving on to high school with a great day at Great Escape! Thank you to Mr. Testani, team 8 and the CCSD transportation dept. for making it a great day! The Grade 8 Moving up ceremony will be held Friday, 6/23, per Mr. Testani's letter!

PLEASE SEE AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT BELOW FROM MR. SCHENONE REGARDING A CHANGE FOR GRADUATION: Corinth Families, I wanted to send an update about our graduation ceremony. Based on the current weather forecast, we are going to move our graduation ceremony to Thursday evening.

With thunderstorms predicted for both Friday and Saturday we want to make sure that our ceremony is a safe event for all. We always ask families to reserve both Thursday evening and Saturday morning as alternate times hoping we will never need them. Unfortunately, the forecast is not cooperating with us this year and we are moving the ceremony to Thursday at 6:30. We understand how important this event is and want to make it as memorable for our graduates as possible.

The inconvenience that comes with adjusting plans, especially with families traveling from out of town is regrettable, but this will ensure that our event can take place safely.
The graduation rehearsal for the Seniors will still take place on Thursday morning at 9:30. The parade will take place on Thursday evening immediately following our ceremony. I appreciate your flexibility and support.

The CHS Varsity Club, with the assistance of our CCSD All-Sports Booster Club and our Athletic Director, Hilary Haskell, honored athletes for their accomplishments earlier this month. BANKS AWARD: Cameron Wiseman and Alyssa Crossman GEORGE SPIELDENNER ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS: Alyssa Crossman, Madison Pincheon, Sarah Pita, Emma Mack, Ashton Tokarski, Adrielle Lewis, Desiree Neville, Rylee Dunbar The Booster Club honored every senior who played a sport with certificate. Seniors who played 3 varsity sports for all 4 years of high school were recognized: Riley Dunbar, Cameron Wiseman, Alexis Crossman and Paul Granger Thank you to all who made this special night possible! We congratulate our senior athletes and thank you for your dedication, passion and commitment to your athletic careers at CCSD. We wish you much success in your future endeavors!!

The kindergarten students had a fun and busy week. They visited the Saratoga Children's Museum where they learned about innovative intentions and explored all of the museum exhibits.
They also went to The Barn this week for their reading celebration ice cream.

A big shout out to students Conley Baldwin, Owen Shanahan, Ryder Morris, Noah Wentworth, Bryson Schurr, Gavin Stewart, Phillip Richardson and Christopher Sheerer for helping our AD, Coach Haskell, spruce up the CCSD football field buildings recently! Thank you for your hard work!

CMS wrapped up the 4 grade level field trips to Wild Play in the past week! Students participated in outdoor adventure course, practicing their technology and science skills, as well as our Positivity Project character strengths! See more photos/info on Facebook!

First Grade students visited the Jungle Experience Zoo in Granville. They recognized many of the animals from our Wit and Wisdom and Geodes stories this year. They were able to learn more about the animals, touch, pet and even feed them! See more photos on our Facebook page.

CMS Counselor, Mr. Castrio, and CHS Counselor, Mrs. Whitman, recently joined CES Counselor, Mrs. Eichhorn on a visit to 4th grade! They facilitated a lesson in our XELLO program where students explored their interests, goals and prepared for the transition to grade 5 at CMS!

Mrs. Jensen’s High School Applied Math Class hosted the 5th Grade at a “Handmade Game” event recently. The class also profited enough on the stock market to buy lunch from Rocco’s for themselves, Administrators, Support Staff, and Guidance Advisors!!! Congratulations, students!

Our Seniors did the traditional "Graduation Walk" through CES and the halls of CMS/CHS this week! They were welcomed with applause, high fives and posters! Congratulations to the Class of 2023! See more photos and videos on our Facebook page!

It was a wonderful Flag Day Celebration today at Corinth Elementary School! CES honored our "Hometown Heroes" to make this year's celebration extra special! Thank you to all who participated and contributed to this wonderful long-time Corinth community tradition!

A big shout out to two of our hardworking seniors, Jaelyn Cutright and Robert Brewer, who were honored at the Early College and Career Academy ceremony recently. Robert completed the certificate in IT Computer Networking in addition to several other certifications and was honored with a leadership award. Jaelyn received her certificate in Media Arts, several Adobe certifications, Citizen Award, Maureen VanBuren scholarship and was selected as a student speaker for the ceremony! Congratulations to Robert and Jaelyn for all of your hard work and well-earned accolades and recognitions. We are so proud of you and wish you much success as you continue the college education journey.

A big shout out to CHS senior, Adrielle Lewis, for being awarded 2 local scholarships. Adrielle was chosen as a scholarship recipient by the CSEA Local Scholarship Committee and was honored recently at a dinner. She was also selected for the Town of Greenfield Lions Club Mae Richardson Memorial Scholarship for her substantial community service during her high school career! Congratulations, Adrielle! Way to make CHS proud!

A big shout out to all of the participants in the Third Grade Multiplication Bee recently! We are so proud of all of our students for their hard work learning their multiplication skills! Congratulations to the winners! See the names in the image below!

Coach Torda and Coach Flint invite any interested cross country athletes to a meeting in the cafeteria on Monday, 6/12 at 2:45! Time to think about next year!

Congratulations to Colby Hanna who finished in 6th place in the Federation Championship long jump competition with a 21ft jump at the New York State meet yesterday. Colby competed against athletes from across the state! What a great way to end the season!!

On Tuesday, June 6th, the Corinth Middle School chapter of the National Junior Honor Society inducted the new members from the 7th grade. Students who were selected for demonstrating scholarship, character, citizenship, leadership and service to their school and community. They serve as role models for their peers. We thank your current members for all of your hard work and wish you much success in high school. Congratulations to the new members! We are fortunate to have such an esteemed group of student leaders. Thank you to our NJHS advisor, Ms. Kathy Newell, for her work facilitating a successful year for our middle school NJHS chapter.
