It was a big weekend for our Corinth Riverhawk Wrestlers!!! Coach Bardin shared:
"It was an excellent day for Corinth Wrestling! Our teammates competed fiercely on two fronts, achieving success both at the JV tournament in Ballston Spa and at the Mat Mania Tournament in Glens Falls. In Ballston Spa, six of our wrestlers earned first place in their respective weight classes! Gage Bardin, Emerson Rigley, Theo Gavin, Tristan Lozier, Brian Macica, Jack Dyer and Parker Duerr-Clark all wrestled well, each showing their grit and perseverance while wrestling tough, 3-period matches.
In Glens Falls, our varsity team earned 3rd place out of 15 schools!! Congratulations to Aiden Schurr and Keegan Baker for clinching the top spot in their weight classes, wrestling great matches in the finals. Also reaching the podium today were Lenny Rosa and Riley Bernash, who both secured 3rd place, along with Mason Rose taking 4th. Jake Lafaver, Michael Rose, Darius Parnell, Hunter Labrake, DJ Barnes, Blake Cronk, and Camdyn Moors all won matches today, contributing to the overall team score and helping achieve the 3rd place finish.

Our teammates battle it out every day in practice to find success on the mat like we did today. We invite you to come watch an open practice this Monday, 12/16 at 3 PM in the high school gym. Go Riverhawks!! (Photos courtesy of the Corinth wrestling social media page)
