"Congratulations to seniors Wyatt Brown-Lagoy and David Frye for taking second place in the Adirondack League Doubles Tournament. The final was very competitive and they came up just a bit short in a 3 set loss. Alex Schiavi competed in the Adirondack League Singles Tournament and made it to the quarterfinals.

The Riverhawks Varsity Tennis Team took on Warrensburg on Wednesday. They won a very close match, 4-3. Winners were #1 Alex Schiavi, #3 Olivia Lapoint, #4 Chloe Jasper, and 2nd doubles Nate Baird and Alice Wilcox. Way to go Riverhawks!!!

Our Unified Basketball team had a great win yesterday in Hadley-Luzerne!!! Congrats to both teams on a well-played game! Coach Giumarra shared CHS highlights:
"The Unified Basketball had a nail biting close game away against Hadley Luzerne yesterday - with their entire student body in the audience. The players put their nerves aside to hold a steady chase towards the win.
Jason Bellinger was our top scorer with 10 points, Brody; "the Beast" Ide came in with one shot and led the audience in a 1/2 time dance. Issac "the Pickle" Harwood had 4 pts! Tallula LaBrake brought home 6 pts and Nate "the Great" had an awesome point winning shot.
Gracie, "the stealer" Brown was a force on the court - getting the ball back to our team! The whole team showed amazing sportsmanship and kindness to each other and all the players!"

Our Modified Girls Softball team earned the win tonight! Coach Roberts shared some kudos to our Riverhawks:
"Modified girls Riverhawks won their game against Hadley-Luzerne. 24-16 today.
Our Riverhawks showed confidence running the bases and getting our runs in. Liz Miele had a beautiful catch in left center. Our outfielders worked fast with moving the ball infield. Kirana Ellis was fantastic catching her first full game. Our pitchers worked hard. This team does a fantastic job cheering and supporting each other throughout the game.. Their sportsmanship is remarkable."

Our Girls Varsity Softball team earned a great "W" last night! Coach Bruno shared game highlights:
"Congratulations to the Riverhawk varsity softball team for a dominant win over Hadley Luzerne 21-8.
After the first inning, it was tied 2-2. Then the team scored 6 in the top of the second highlighted by doubles by Greta Berrigan and Heather Pita. The team scored 3 more in the third with singles by Olivia Holmes, Jullianna French, another double by Greta with RBIs from Teagan Grady and Whitney Cameron.
In the fourth, the team put up ten runs. Makenna Eastman and Heather Pita singled and Alexis Baker had an RBI single. Jullianna , Whitney and Piper all singled home a run! Aubrey Lozier and Hannah Barger each got an RBI to give the team their 21st run. It was a total team effort and everyone contributed. Great job, Riverhawks!" #RiverhawkPride #RevitalizeAthletics

Our JV Baseball team had an exciting win tonight! Coach Fauler shared game highlights:

"Corinth Junior Varsity Riverhawks Baseball team earned a walk-off win over Hadley Luzerne! The Riverhawks took Monday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 7-6 walk-off victory. The game was tied at 6 in the bottom of the 7th when Harper Houser drew a walk with the bases loaded, full count, scoring one run to win the game. Despite falling down by four runs in the bottom of the 6th, Hadley Luzerne fought back to tie the game in the top of the 7th.

A steal of home by Reily Halliday gave the Riverhawks the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the 3rd. Emerson Rigley was a brick wall behind the plate, and driving in a run to give the Riverhawks an insurance run making the score 4-2 in the bottom of the 5th. The Riverhawks were able to tack on 2 more runs in the bottom of the 6th, making the score 6-2 going into the top of the 7th.

Haydon Heil stepped on the bump first for the Riverhawks. The starter allowed zero hits and two runs over four innings, striking out six and walking four. Harper Houser appeared in relief for the Riverhawks.

Reiley Halliday and Harper Houser each collected two hits for the Riverhawks. Houser led the team with two runs batted in. The second baseman went 2-for-3 on the day with a triple.
Great job, Riverhawks!!"

Our Girls Modified Softball team had a great first game! Coach Roberts shared the following: "Our modified softball team had a great start to the season. They ended the game with a tied score of 15-15 against Warrensburg.
Upon arrival, the weather went from a beautiful sunny day to pouring rain in a matter of minutes. The girls persevered and started the game. Their positivity with one another and their cheerful personalities set the tone for the game. We are extremely proud of our Riverhawks for starting the season out strong."

"Corinth Varsity Riverhawks won big over Northville Varsity Falcons 18-8 on Friday at Northville High School.
Corinth Varsity Riverhawks got on the board in the top of the first inning after Eddie McGuire doubled to left field, and Ashton Wright grounded out, each scoring one run. Corinth Varsity Riverhawks added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Northville Varsity Falcons committed an error, Kaden Wright grounded out, and Wright walked, each scoring one run.

Corinth Varsity Riverhawks scored six runs on three hits in the top of the third inning. Keegan Baker singled, scoring two runs, McGuire doubled, scoring one run, Wright drew a walk, scoring one run, and Owen Baker doubled, scoring two runs.
Corinth Varsity Riverhawks scored five runs on one hit in the top of the fourth inning. Baker singled, scoring one run, Gage Bardin drew a walk, scoring one run, and Kris Barnes drew a walk, scoring one run.

Bardin earned the win for Corinth Varsity Riverhawks. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and nine runs (three earned) over four innings, striking out four and walking three. Wright tossed one inning of scoreless ball for Corinth Varsity Riverhawks in relief. The hurler surrendered zero hits, striking out three and walking two.

Corinth Varsity Riverhawks amassed nine hits in the game. Baker, McGuire, and Baker each collected two hits for Corinth Varsity Riverhawks. Baker went 2-for-5 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Corinth Varsity Riverhawks had a strong eye at the plate, tallying 15 walks for the game. Wright and Bardin led the team with three bases on balls each. Baker and Barnes each stole multiple bases for Corinth Varsity Riverhawks. Corinth Varsity Riverhawks stole eight bases in the game."
