Today is March 1st and we are kicking off the "Read for Ronald McDonald House Charities" of the Capital Region initiative! Students are very excited to participate!

The Unified Bowling team scored a great win last night. Coach Reynolds shared match highlights:
"The CHS Unified Bowling team continued its strong season last night with a win over Salem. Knocking down 2,327 total team pins, the Riverhawks outlasted the Generals 5-4. The team was led by seniors Tallula Labrake and Nathan Winslow, with strong games from Samantha Winslow and Landyn Harney. They face Schuylerville at Saratoga Strike Zone on Friday." #PlayUnified #RiverhawkPride

The CHS gymnasium was packed with enthusiastic fans when the Girls Varsity Basketball team took the floor in their first sectional game of the post season. Coach Suppes shared game highlights:
"The girls varsity basketball team won their opening round game in the Section 2 tournament. They beat Watervliet-Heatly 45-33. After a slow start, Lyla Dishon provided a spark off the bench and scored 10 points in the second quarter to give the Riverhawks an 18-11 halftime lead.
Whitney Cameron found her shot in the second half and led all scorers with 15 and hit some clutch shots in big moments of the game. Sage Shanahan had another great game in the post and finished with 12 points. This was another great team win led by their defense. The Riverhawks will now travel to Voorheesville Saturday night at 7:30pm for their quarterfinal matchup."
