Our Girls Varsity Soccer Team had a big win on Thursday evening! Coach Kanofsky shared game highlights:
"The Riverhawks were successful Thursday evening in their game against Hadley-Luzerne, ultimately coming up victorious with a 6-0 win. Goals this evening came from Caitlyn crossman, Kerrigan Millis, Alexis baker, Isabella Craig, and Alexis Craig.
The Riverhawks worked collectively from defense to move the ball up field after taking a few minutes to settle in. They were able to string longer passing sequences together that provided them the space to shoot. All players worked extremely hard during their time on the field. Keepers, Alexis hall and Jullianna French maintained another shutout for the Riverhawks. Keep an eye out for our post season games as we enter sectionals."
Congratulations, Riverhawks! We look forward to following you in the post season and wish you continued success!

The 2024 Varsity Boys Soccer season has been incredible! They continue to achieve success and last night was no exception! Read highlights of last night's game from Coach Deso:
"Corinth hosted Ft. Ann this afternoon in the Adirondack League tournament boys semi-final matchup. The team took some time to get their play dialed in, but once they did, it was pretty to watch, stringing together some nice passing combinations while making a number of fine runs on offense.
The Riverhawks' efforts would pay off with just over eight minutes remaining in the first half when they were awarded a corner kick. Sam Tangora laid out a beautiful serve that found its way to the head of Hunter Shanahan, which was promptly put away to the back of the net for the only goal in the half. The second half was an entirely different look from the Riverhawks. The team took the field with absolute purpose, and controlled the pace and flow of the game for the better part of 40 minutes. With 20 minutes remaining, Tristan Lozier would find himself with the ball 35 yards out, danced his way to the box, and would blister a rising rocket of a shot from just inside the 18 that the keeper was only able to get his fingertips on. This second goal would prove to be enough to secure the victory for Corinth.
Danny Hunt, Michael Petteys, Lucca Giaculli and Hunter Shanahan ate up everything that came their way on defense, while Jase Brunell, Aiden Wentworth and Sam Tangora performed spectacularly securing and owning the midfield. Tristan Lozier, Sean Ward, and Tyler Smolinski continued to display workhorse mentality, consistently wearing down the Ft. Ann defense all throughout the contest. Solid contributions were also on display from Arik Peris, Noah Thompson, Emerson Rigley, Logan Stanton and Alex Schiavi. Owen Baker collected 5 saves in net for the Riverhawks, and with this win, earned his 9th shutout on the season and 20th career shutout overall.
The Riverhawks' overall record stands at 11-3-1. This exceptional team has also achieved yet another Corinth historical first- they will now travel to Schuylerville on Saturday night at 7:00pm to compete in the Adirondack League Championship title contest! They will be taking on the Bolton-Warrensburg Eagles in what will surely be an epic battle, as the Riverhawks vie for their first ever Adirondack league title.
Please come out and fill the bleachers with black and orange and support this fine group of athletes who have worked incredibly hard to put themselves in this position!"
Congratulations, Riverhawks and coaches! Let's show our school spirit and fill the stands on Saturday night!!! Go, RIVERHAWKS #CorinthProud
