Our Varsity Wrestling Team had a big day on Saturday! Coach Bardin shared highlights:
"A huge congratulations to our Varsity Wrestling team for winning the annual Marty Sherman home tournament! It was an incredible day for our wrestlers who dominated all of our dual matches on the brand-new mats. We're also extremely proud of the second team we entered into the tournament on short notice—they stepped up and competed with heart. Every wrestler faced tough matches throughout the day, but their hard work and determination paid off in the end.
Saturday was also a special moment for our program as we honored our two seniors, Michael Rose and Darius Parnell, who have committed to serving our country—Michael in the Air Force Air National Guard and Darius in the Marines. We are grateful for their dedication to both the sport and their future service.
A special shoutout to Michael, who put on an outstanding performance and earned the tournament's MOW (Most Outstanding Wrestler) award!
Congratulations again to all our wrestlers, and best of luck in the future!"
Stay tuned for more photos of the day...coming soon!

Dear CCSD Families,
This week, our school community will focus on the character strength of Forgiveness. Forgiveness means letting go of anger toward those who have done wrong and accepting that people make mistakes.
When we forgive, we can move past being hurt and make peace with what happened. Forgiveness heals and strengthens our relationships. It doesn’t erase what happened, but it helps us let go of the hurt and move forward.
Seeking forgiveness shows that a person values relationships and understands the impact of their actions. It shows humility, accountability, and a willingness to make amends. By seeking forgiveness, a person shows they care about resolving conflicts and restoring trust. It also shows emotional maturity and a commitment to personal growth.
To practice and encourage forgiveness at home, please visit The Positivity Project’s mobile-friendly P2 for Families: https://posproject.org/p2-for-families/
Please consider asking your student about the lessons, discussions and activities involving forgiveness. Thank you for your support of our Social Emotional Learning curriculum!

Attention, CMS students and families! Just a reminder that we are hosting the Winter Semi-Formal/Fun Night Friday night from 5-7! We look forward to an evening of fun with our students. Please see the flyer below for important information about the event! #CMSPBIS

The Corinth Hiking Club faced the cold weather last weekend and found fun in exploring the Stonewall Trail. This trail is part of the Moreau State Park and follows an old Stonewall Trail to an abandoned rock basement and then to the edge of the mighty Hudson River.
This hike checks a box in the Adirondack 8 Gateway Challenge; getting us one step closer to the patch of the challenge completion. With the low levels on the Hudson, we were able to "walk" right out on the Hudson for some glorious views.
New hikers in grades 7-12 are always welcome. Please email Mrs. Giumarra at giumarrak@corinthcsd.org for more information.

Coach Lemelin shared an update from our Cheer team:
"The CHS cheerleaders have been working exceptionally hard in the past few weeks to rotate new stunts into their halftime routines. Here are some photos of our recent stunts!
They also have been running basket raffles at some of the games so that they could help raise money to send to California due to the recent fires. With the generous donations of baskets from the Baldwin family, they were able to raise and donate over 200$ to the Red Cross to aid in disaster relief. We would like to thank the spectators and community members who made the donation possible. We are so unbelievably grateful for all of the support we have gotten this season.
Come out on Friday January 31st at 5:30 to honor our senior cheerleaders and also our girls senior basketball player! "
