"The Riverhawk golf team lost a very close championship match 3-2 to Lake George. The team had a phenomenal season, going 11-2 overall, placing 2nd in the league tournament and placing 2nd in the league overall. A full golf recap will be coming just to highlight this amazing team soon.
But, the exciting news was that Cooper Philo needed one more score to qualify and he got it! He scored a 41 on the Hiland’s back nine to secure his spot in the sectional tournament on Tuesday! Congratulations Cooper and to the Riverhawk golf team on an amazing season."

It was a great end to Spirit Week 2025 last night! Coach Deso shared game highlights from a very exciting Cup Game under the lights at home:
"The Corinth Riverhawks rounded out Homecoming Week with a convincing 9-0 win over the Hadley-Luzerne Eagles in the annual league matchup and retaining the possession of "The Cup" trophy.
It took some time for the Riverhawks to find their groove, but once they were able to pierce the Eagle armor, there was no looking back. Scoring would begin with consecutive goals from Emerson Rigley, assisted by Owen Shanahan and Tristan Lozier, respectively.
Once the scoring started, the team was unstoppable. Goals would come from a score of RIverhawk players including two fine finishes from Noah Thompson, season first goals from both Aiden Wentworth and Sam Nelson, and a team first hat trick from defender, Lucca Giaculli.
Tristan Lozier was busy on the field all night and collected three assists on the evening. Michael Petteys would earn the shutout in the net for the Riverhawks.
The team next takes on North Warren at home on Wednesday, October 8th!"
Congratulations, Riverhawks! We love keeping this tradition alive! The coveted Cup Trophy remains in Corinth this year!

Our Modified Boys Soccer team played an amazing game on Thursday! Coaches Krohn and McEvoy shared highlights from a great match:
"The Modified Boys Soccer team battled hard last Thursday night, falling to Warrensburg in a nail-biting double overtime match. Thor led the offense with all three goals, powered by strong assists from Miles B., Shaelen, and Blake C.
Nate, Liam, and Carsen played pivotal roles, showing determination and grit that kept the game within reach until the very end. In goal, Cole came up big with several big saves that energized the team and kept the crowd on their feet.
Although the scoreboard didn’t fall in our favor, the boys showed tremendous effort, teamwork, and resilience. They continue to grow stronger each game, and last night’s performance showed just how much heart and fight this team has."
WOW! Great work, Riverhawks! #RiverhawksRising
(Updated team photo coming soon as a few players are missing in this pic!) More photos coming soon!

"The Riverhawk golf team continued their charge to defending their title by winning their semi-final match against North Warren Thursday 4-1. It was a total team effort to give the team the victory.
This is their 10th win in a row. They own a 11-1 overall record and now have one more match to retain the Adirondack league title."
The team played for the league title yesterday at the Highland! Results coming soon...stay tuned.
Congratulations, Riverhawks!

Our Modified Field Hockey team played a home game on Thursday and had a great win! Coach Crombach shared highlights from a very exciting game:
"Congratulations to the modified field hockey team for winning their first home game against Salem-Cambridge 3-0. Jordan Dyer scored first, finding the back of the goal just five minutes into the game. Adelynn Kozlowski scored the first of her two goals on an assist from Emily Clothier early in the second half and followed that up with her second goal, this time assisted by Emilee Abare.
Once again, our defense held strong, allowing no shots on goal and our offensive field position and passing gets better every game!!! You can see these athletes in action after the varsity game on Monday."
Congratulations, Riverhawks! The future of our Field Hockey program is certainly very bright! #RiverhawkProud #RiverhawksRising

Annabell O’Brien led the team with 5 aces and 8 points. Emma Havens backed that up with 4 aces and 5 points. Kirana Ellis had 1 ace and 3 kills.
