Our Modified Riverhawk Softball team recently wrapped up their season. Coach Roberts shared highlights from their last home game of the season:
"The Modified Riverhawks ended the season with a big win against Lake George. The score was 24-15. Our catchers Annabell and Kirana were quick on their feet and continued to communicate with both of our pitchers. Olivia Dymond started the game with 3 strikeouts and Abby Richardson ended the game with 3 strikeouts.
The girls started the game with energetic base running. Our outfielders (Maddox, Emily, Kendall, Sophia and Liz) moved quickly with moving the ball infield. Liz Miele caught a pop fly in center field and hit two doubles. Kendall Baker had 2 RBI's. Sawyer Anderson had incredible stretches with getting the outs at first. Kenzie Morehouse kept moving and was ready at any moment at third base. Natalie kept us on our toes with base running.
A HUGE thank you to our families who have been so flexible with the many changes in our season due to weather. A special thank you to Coach Murphy who volunteered her time to be with us daily. These girls are remarkable and we can't wait to see them play next year." Congratulations, Riverhawks! We are proud of your hard work this season! #RiverhawkProud #RiverhawksRising
